John was amazing and gave us the gift of a beautiful, heartfelt service. He spoke in Irish and in English and read scripture and Irish poetry. He prayed over us and blessed our rings with holy water. Absolutely beautiful.

John, You brought love, personality, connectivity, humour, everything and more to our special day of becoming husband and wife that when people ask, “is it everything you hoped for?” we confidently reply, “it was so much more”.

Thank you for the time you put into our ceremony as well as the special touches and attention to detail. May 8th, 2024 is a new best day in our hearts and you will forever be a part of that, as well.

John was incredibly responsive to every question we had and had a backup plan for every possible situation on the day of the ceremony. His thorough preparation and calming presence helped ease any worries we had, allowing us to fully enjoy our special day.

John is a true master of his craft, and we’re already looking forward to our next trip to the Emerald Isle so we can catch up with him. His talent made our day unforgettable, and we’re forever grateful.

John, we absolutely loved how you handled the ceremony & you made us feel a lot of love. Having you for a ceremony made it magical. My mother called and she mentioned she loved you so much during the ceremony. You made us laugh & made us realize how deep our love is for each other.

John was an absolute joy to work with! From the first email we received from him we could tell he was the person we wanted to be our wedding officiant. We could tell he was not only going to be so nice to work with, but also fun to be around. This was all confirmed when we met him in person a few days before the wedding. We knew he wanted to get to know us so he could make the ceremony perfect for us. After meeting with us, he chose a reading that was absolutely beautiful and wrote us the perfect personalized wedding vows.

He made us feel so special on our wedding day! We had only our immediate family at the wedding and he found a way to incorporate them all into the ceremony which was so lovely! He also acted as a bit of a chauffeur and drove my dad and I to the location so we could arrive in style. John did so much to make the day go perfectly.

John is kind, generous, caring and fun. He was so wonderful to work with and we are so happy he was part of our special day!

John was honestly a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our plans had to change over the course of our conversations due to Covid 19 and our wedding becoming a lot smaller, and he was so helpful during that process. As I had to cocoon during this time, he ensured that there was hand sanitiser and masks and social distancing on the day which was a massive relief as it meant I didn’t have to think about that myself and could focus solely on getting married!

The ceremony itself was perfect – we wanted no fuss, no long readings etc, and John just got it. The short readings and vows selected felt really personal, and it was lovely that he could bring in little things about us, especially seeing as our families couldn’t be there. I was incredibly touched by him including a piece about my grandmother who’s ring I was using, and the whole thing was just really beautiful.
He also braved the swell on the cliffs to do a handfasting ceremony for us, which was really special. The weather was awful that day, but he never flinched.”
