Weddings and Civil Ceremonies

Civil Weddings

Perhaps you want a wedding that allows you and your partner to express your love for one another, witnessed by your family and friends. We can work together in planning this unique and beautiful ceremony.

This gathering can be an intimate indoor affair or outside amongst nature.

Cliff Top Ceremonies

Cliff Top Ceremonies

I have been involved with a number of weddings which have taken place on the stunning Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Ireland.

I can work with you and your partner to organise this very special and unique outdoor wedding ceremony that can be magical on the edge of the Atlantic sea.

Vow Renewal

Vow Renewal

Together, we can design a special ceremony to allow you to recommit to the one you love. We can work together in planning a beautiful unique event that will celebrate your ongoing mutual love.

Again we can locate the perfect venue from the comfort of your own home to any outdoor setting.

love sweet love

I can provide you with a ceremony which you design to your own desires. The day is yours. It is special so let’s get it spot on. I can visit you before your day as often as you wish to prepare and plan. Every detail will be perfect. I will look after all the readings and the ceremony. We can choose a venue which is special for you.

We can put your own vows together. On the day I will officiate and provide you with a most beautiful experience. I can sign your marriage registration form on same day and during your ceremony.

I can be booked to do any type of wedding or civil ceremony welcoming all couples be they straight, same sex or transgender.  We all deserve love and for that to be recognised and celebrated.  Labels don’t really apply to two people in love.

we couldn’t have asked for a better day or ceremony

“We couldn’t have asked for a better day or ceremony. Thank you so much for keeping everything light-hearted. Kayla and I love to laugh together, and having a few chuckles on our wedding day was very refreshing. Thank you as well for taking the forms to the HSE office, it saves us valuable time on our trip and that is so very much appreciated.”

the most wonderful experience

“We had the most wonderful experience with Rev. John Burns during our wedding. John was very well organized and patient with us. He listened to us and he understood us. He’s an excellent celebrant and would highly recommend him to other couples who want to marry in Ireland. He made our experience memorable”

Rachel and Rudy, May 2019, Florida, USA

Everything was amazing!!!

“John Burns was an absolute pleasure to work with since day one. We were referred from Stephen Neary at Eloping in Ireland and from the first email, John was able to answer any questions that I had. He put together a beautiful ceremony for us and most of our work was done through email communication”

It is very important to note that if you wish to have your wedding registered in the State, you will need to give the HSE three month’s notice so that the paperwork will be ready for your special day.
